This is a research experiment. Take a moment to read what happens with your voice.

What we record

Your voice reading a phrase for 10 seconds, as an uncompressed audio file.

Why we use it

To test and improve a voice classifier. Your audio and its analysis are used in a research experiment.

What we store

The original audio, an anonymous analysis (voice pitch and estimates) and, if you choose, the gender you report. We do not link your name, email or IP address to the recording.

How to delete it

When you finish you will see a button to delete your voice during that same session, and a deletion code. With that code you can ask us to delete it whenever you want.

If you lose the code and clear your browser data, we cannot identify your recording and we will not be able to delete it.

This experiment is only for people aged 18 or over.
